Dearest LB & GY,

Tomorrow, marks our 3rd year wedding anniversary and I hope to go to the pagoda with my husband to say our prayer of thanks.

And seeing that this is my prayer in advanced, I'd also like to say my prayer of thanks - more significantly for the ocassions that we will be celebrating.

I am thankful to have been blessed with such a good man as my husband. I don't know where to begin, but I am very very lucky. Very blessed indeed. I am thankful that we have each other and I pray that our relationship will only grow and blossom throughout the years as we grow old together, hand in hand.

I pray for his health, his safety, his well-being and I hope he gets the big break that he's been waiting for and he achieves all of his dreams. With your blessings and guidance of course.

I pray for strength and unwavering faith in all that we have to face together and as individuals and I pray that our love and bond continues growing from strength to strength everyday.

Aside from that, I pray also for my family - both immediate and extended, my loveds ones, my friends and all those in need. I pray that they are always safe, sound and healthy and that they all live long and prosperous lives. I pray that they always enjoy all of life's greatest moments and pleasures and I pray that everything goes smoothly for them, for them to be happy always.

I also say Thank You in advanced for a nice little celebration to mark the ocassion tomorrow. There should be nothing I want more than to spend a nice day with my husband :) Everyday is a nice day, but I hope tomorrow can be just that much more special.

Dearest LB & GY,

As usual, I am doing my prayers in advanced. Thank you for your blessings.
This Saturday, weather permitting (please bless us!) we would like to go to Shwedagon Pagoda to pray. Then I thought of this - do I feel closer to you because I am at a Pagoda? Is that right or wrong? I am not quite sure why it is significant for me to go to the Pagoda to pray. Everyday, I pray and that's my conversation with you wherever I am. Is it wrong to think this? Please guide me.

Thank you as always for blessing my husband with this great offer here in YG and inadvertently blessing us with this new experience. Please continue blessing and guiding him and let this be the big break that he's been waiting for. Thank you also for blessing me with this great job with CM and please continue blessing and guiding me and let this also be the big break that I've been waiting for.

I am continuously thankful and grateful for a life that has treated me and my loved ones very well. I am thankful for all the love, opportunities and great experiences. I am thankful for the food on my table, clothes on my back and roofs over my head. I am thankful that all my prayers are always heard and answered. I know I am a lucky and blessed child. Life is great indeed.

I pray that my family - both immediate and extended, my loved ones, my friends and all those in need are always safe, sound and healthy and that they all live long and prosperous lives. Dearest LB & GY,

Today, I am feeling a little doubtful about my abilities on creative and design work. I mean, who am I to judget what is good and what isn't when I don't even have that skill as my base? Oh no.

But as with what I prayed for yesterday, I still hope that you will provide some signs and guidance of the questions I had asked from yesterday. Hmm... sometimes, I still cannot tell if something or someone is a 'sign' or a message. I really need to try harder.

But as with always - I am thankful. I would like to say my prayer of Thanks.

I am thankful for so much love that surrounds me always. Thankful for knowing the love of a family so unique. Thankful for all that love. Really. Thankful for the love from a husband - who is dotting and loving and caring. So blessed.

I am thankful for every single privilege in my life - from physical to mental to the food on my table, in my fridge, the roofs over my head, clothes I get to wear, activities I get to do and many more. Again - very bless to have such great abundances and I do strive to help those who are not so privileged.

I am thankful for all the experiences and the opportunities. To learn, to share, to experience, to venture, the adventure, the journey. I am blessed with them all and it makes me a richer person.

I am thankful for meeting kind people ..... always, all the time. This is great and it really uplifts my spirit.

Dearest LB & GY,

Since I am once again doing my prayers in advance, I'd like to do something different today as I have some questions.

You know how in my everyday prayers, I have been praying for that big break to come along. Sometimes, I am confused. Because I think the teachings of Buddhism requires us to be contented with what we have and thankful for the privileges that we have. Then, should I be praying for more? Should I think of asking for more? Then, is it wrong to be somewhat ambitious - to want to achieve more to get more out of life, etc.. etc. Can you please guide me?

I think at the end of it, let me dig deep and ask myself - why do I want more?

I think first of all, I want more - I want that big break is so that honestly, I can give my family - namely, my parents as much comfort and luxury as I possibly can because I want them to be able to experience all the good things in the world. For example - even if I don't get to travel to Paris, ... I'd like my parents to be able to go. Something like that.

And then, of course, I'd like to save the world - one poor person at a time. I sometimes am also not sure why this is important for me. I mean, I'd like to be able to build a place where poor people can take shelter and I can help them with food, clothes and a roof over their head. And then I can help them to self-sustain or something like that. I'd also like to be able to help them have as good a life as they possibly can. Is it just to feel good about doing it or is this some bigger cause or a calling for me? I am also not sure. I mean, I'm in a situation where I want to help, but then, I am also calculating - ok, half my salary goes here, goes to taxi, goes to this. And then ......

But... the thing is, I think I have enough for myself. Even after helping them. Just that, I know I don't have anything saved up for a rainy day or for old age - if at all. But I am not even sure if that should be part of my life planning?

Dear LB & GY,

Please do guide me. Sometimes, I get too confused. I am afraid I might be over-thinking it. But I'd really like and need some guidance.

Please don't get me wrong. I am thankful for all the privileges in my life. I cannot complain about anything at all. I open my fridge and there's loads of food. I am blessed. So what is that "more", that big break that I want? To have more to give, that's what I think. But I want to also be true to myself about everything.

Please guide me and grant me the wisdom and clarity.
