Thank you for a life that has treated me well. Thank you for the abundance of money I have in my bank accounts and my purse. Thank you for the endless opportunities that have been handed to me and thank you too for the opportunities that keep coming my way in both my career and personal life. Thank you for always surrounding me with love from my family, my husband and my friends. Thank you for a physically fit body that enables me to do all the things that I wish to do and need to do - from the simplest like walking and breathing to the more complicated stuff like chasing my dreams. My flu seems to have relapsed. Or perhaps it is just my lack of sleep last night. I don't know. I'm not feeling negative. I'm just feeling quite tired and a bit drowsy from the flu. Or lack of sleep. Or both. Nevertheless, I'm quite adamant about the swim later today!

Dearest LB & GY,

My patience have been wearing thinner and thinner. Just when I thought I have eased into becoming a little more patient, it wears thin. I don't understand. I think this week so far, I've been feeling mentally frustrated from work. Not so much because of the work per say, but because of dealing with people - namely my partners. I'm not sure if I am at fault, I'm being too anal, I'm not being understanding enough. And it's affecting me. I think the underlying problems that have been brought out to attention, but not settled is really affecting me. Please, I pray for your guidance to help me keep the faith and find peace and calm and believe that the matters will be resolved.

Whilst that, I am still thankful for a good life. I am thankful for this morning's training - it was good. I am thankful for all the abundance of money I have in my bank accounts and my purse. Is it gluttony and sinful if I finished dinner and I still feel hungry and dissatisfied and move on to another place for snacks? I was greedy last night. I admit that. That was bad. But thank you, I am very thankful for the good food I am able to enjoy and the fact that I never have to starve.

Hmm... I'm feeling tired today.
I had a thought this morning. I realized that the workload I have is getting a bit .... to be in a situation where I cannot control much. Am I being tested? To face challenges and take it in my stride positively? Believe me, I am trying very hard. I remind myself to stay calm, no jumping and think clearly and positively. It is very hard and sometimes, there is a nagging thought in my head saying this is too hard. Please Lord Buddha and Guan Yin, continue to help me keep the faith and stay positive, stay calm and believe that everything will work out perfectly.

Today I lost my patience and scolded a guy on a motorbike who refused to stop even when he saw me coming. I don't get it. I just don't understand why can't they be more civilized driving here in Cambodia. Sometimes, I get so angry with them that I wish they would get into an accident and learn their lesson. But I believe that is wrong. Teaching them a lesson is not for me to do. And I pray for your continuous guidance in helping me and guiding me to become a better person each day.

I have a vendor for my Nagaworld project pulling out. I'm looking at it as - the show must go on and this isn't a hindrance. And a bit of a trashing-out session with my partners. I've also had a potential client demanding that I be at their beck and call when the deal isn't even secured. But I don't know if all these are just to test my patience, or my faith. Please give me a sign! BUT.... I am proud at my responses to them. That I was pretty calm, except for an escalating charged-up emotion while replying my partner's email, but for the most part, I did not let it affect me or my day. Even with the potential client. I sucked it up, took it in my stride, and I planned the next appointment. I've also realized that I've stopped cursing at people when I drive. And it just lets me see this city in a slightly different angle. I do have a question - if I don't curse out loud, but only in my head, is that .... still counted? I just had a thought today. I kill lots of ants. And whilst standing this morning at the balcony, I killed 2. I really detest the ants because they get into my foodstuff and ruin them and I would be forced to throw it out and that would be wasteful. It seems like - killing the ants, not good. But if they get into my food and throwing out the food, not good too. So what should I do?

I bummed into a conman today. The same conman who took a small amount of money from me. I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do. He was trying to con another couple. Should I stop him from doing so? I pray for him to stop doing this con-artist thing and start doing good. I think we need more good people in this world.

I pray for my husband to reap the rewards of his labour and efforts in his work very soon and that all the numerous campaigns and projects that he is managing sails smoothly.

I pray for a beautiful and smooth planning and execution of the projects with G&J as well as C&P and this will in turn lead to more such clients signing up with TWP. I pray for the project with Nagaworld to be smooth-sailing and the successful planning and implementation of the project will boost the wedding business for TWP. I pray for MR and the team to constantly gain financial and business growth and that each project is smoothly and successfully implemented. I pray for NS to continuously grow by leaps and bounds and is further established as the go-to company for destination weddings. Thank you for yet another good training session. A little low in the energy, but I managed to focus and complete :)

I almost ran into a homeless person sleeping on the streets this morning. I wish there weren't anybody who has to do that. I can't judge - as to why they remain poor or why they choose to live on the streets. I don't know them and I don't know what happened. I just wish that everyone had a chance at life being good.

I am thankful, for the many homes that I have. I just realized that I do have plenty to choose to live in and I am so grateful for that. I am thankful for the abundance of money in my bank account and my purse. I am thankful for so much great food to choose to eat. I am thankful for a fit and healthy body - I can run, walk, swim, cycle, exercise, train, race, basically do anything I wish without difficulties. I am thankful for all the love that surrounds me always, deeply and I am thankful for the love that I have to give back. I am thankful for the endless opportunities that have been presented to me so far in both my personal life and my career. I am thankful for such a great opening to the year 2011. I am thankful for a doting husband. Life IS good :)

I'm trying to learn the lessons in forgiving, forgetting, patience and letting it go.
I think I need to understand it as a whole - a concept, and then the consequences and rewards - if they be the right words. Well, the tuk-tuk driver hasn't been the first thing on my mind this morning. But I'm not sure that is a lesson learnt!

But I am thankful, and grateful - for a smooth signing of the deal with C&P yesterday. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I am thankful for so many things going right in my life - I am thankful for a physically abled body to see, run, read, hear, listen, talk, walk, eat, swim, cycle, exercise, the list is never ending but I am thankful I can do whatever I wish, whenever I wish. I am thankful for the abundance of money in my bank account and my purse always. I am thankful for all the great food I get to eat, cook, serve and share with equally great company. I am thankful for the abundance of opportunities that have been served my way, in both my personal life and my career. I am thankful for the kind people I meet ever so often. I am thankful for all the love that envelopes me so deeply within its folds and constantly being surrounded by it. Life is good.

Dearest LB & GY,

Yesterday, I was confronted by a tuk-tuk man who totally sent my head reeling in annoyance. I had remained calm throughout the whole process and did not pick a fight. I was even rather proud that the first thing I thought about him was that he must be having a bad day. But then, it just all went downhill from there as I cannot get it off my head - just what was his problem, really?! Is this my lesson in patience? Is this my lesson in compassion? I want to scold him and tell him off too! That would've been easier. I didn't realize it would be so damn difficult to hold it all back and consciously THINK GOOD and POSITIVE thoughts. Oh my goodness...... please let me find peace. Please guide me.

Despite, I am still thankful - thankful that my short story has been chosen as a literature piece for university students. I am thankful that I am given the opportunity to shine through my writing. I am thankful for a physically-abled body - I can see, read, hear, listen, think, feel, love, run, walk, talk, swim, cycle... do as I please. Thankful that I have all the great food to eat at my choice. I am thankful that I have an abundance of money in my bank account and my purse. I am thankful that I have been given endless opportunities both in my personal life and my career. I am thankful for always, always being surrounded and enveloped in love from my family, my husband and my friends. I am thankful for my life.
